Godin Family gives a Special Gift to their Community

GIVING THE GIFT OF MRI FOR CHRISTMAS

PEMBROKE – Following the spirit of the holidays, the Godin family has chosen to make a generous contribution to support the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s MRI: Image Matters Campaign.

“Most of us have what we need at home; but the Ottawa Valley doesn’t have an MRI,” said Gina Godin. “Instead of a family gift exchange, we decided to pool our money and support the MRI campaign which will impact so many families in our region year round. An MRI is used in any and every season.”

“An MRI will benefit so many people in our area. This generosity truly reflects the spirit of the holidays” said PRHF Executive Director Nancy Warren. The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is currently securing the remaining $2 million dollars to purchase and install an MRI for the citizens of Renfrew County.

“This gift is also a challenge to other families! Ours is an ordinary family, and if everyone gives what they can, we can bring this MRI home. We need it, and this is an opportunity for our community’s families to help each other,” concluded Gina.
