EGM pledges $10,000 to sold-out Hospital Gala

EGM Insurance recently made a $10,000 Gift of Humanity towards the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s annual Black and White Gala. Proceeds from the black-tie event will help to strengthen surgical care and orthopaedic advancements in the region.

“We are in the business of helping people ensure that the futures of their loved ones and what’s important to them are safe and secure,” said Dan Laverdure, General Manager at EGM.

“Contributing to the Hospital Gala is an important way EGM invests in the futures of the families in our communities,” Mr. Laverdure continued.

“The EGM Team has been dedicated supporters of the yearly Gala since its inaugural event as attendees, sponsors and volunteers to help set up for the night,” commented Roger Martin, PRHF Executive Director.

Remarking on the sold-out Gala, PRHF Board Chair, Lisa Edmonds, said, “the Black and White Gala is a remarkable demonstration of the shared commitment to regional health care, by the contributors and attendees of the event.”

“I am grateful and proud of the continued community support for this annual philanthropic event,” said Ms. Edmonds.

EGM Insurance’s Gift of Humanity will help support improvements to the Surgical Floor and equipment purchases for the Orthopaedic Program at the Pembroke Regional Hospital.

Donations to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation are welcome any time online, in person or by phone.
