Guardian Angel Program

The Guardian Angel Program offers grateful patients and their families a meaningful way to show their appreciation to a physician, nurse, staff member or volunteer who made a difference during their Hospital visit.

“The Guardian Angel Program provides another opportunity for patients and their loved ones who want to recognize those who have made a difference in a way that is very meaningful to the recipients.” – Pierre Noel, President and CEO, Pembroke Regional Hospital.

Upon receipt of your donation, your Guardian Angel will be presented an acknowledgement card and angel lapel pin to proudly wear throughout the Hospital.  Your Guardian Angel will also be added to our Honour Roll of Angels.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 How do I nominate someone?

Select one of the options below (nominate online, or via a printable form). If selecting printable form please fill it out the printable form please complete the details and return it to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation by mail or email, with your donation on behalf of your Guardian Angel.

What happens after I nominate someone?

Once we have received your nomination we will contact the staff member to let them know that they have been nominated. They will receive a Guardian Angel pin, along with a brief “thank you ceremony” where our foundation staff will visit them for a photo-op and post their nomination on our social media channels and sometimes in our monthly newsletters. We want as many people as possible to know about the acts of good happening in our hospital, and the Angels responsible for them.

Will my donation be anonymous?

If you prefer that your donation to remain anonymous it can be, of course. If you’d like your Guardian Angel to know it was you that nominated them we love to share these details too! It’s entirely your choice!

Where does my donation go?

With the current need to upgrade or replace equipment across many departments of the hospital, continuous monthly support lets our Hospital map out a path to improving the state-of-the-art comprehensive health care offered locally. Be it knowing when the funds are available to purchase new ventilators or crash carts, or anticipating the funds required for heart monitors, monthly giving lets us build a healthier future together with methodical planning.
