Help make the phone lines ring during this year’s Connect to Care Radiothon!

On March 2nd, tune in to 104.9 myFM from 10am to 5pm as your Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation will be hosting its second Connect to Care Radiothon at the Pembroke Mall. There will also be entertainment and activities throughout the day, with a teddy bear clinic, local musicians, and representatives from your PRH health care teams.

Leading up to the Radiothon, the PRH Foundation is inviting local businesses, schools and retirement homes to get involved by hosting their own fundraisers or by displaying one of our donation boxes. In 2018, certain groups issued challenges to the community to make a donation, like the Champlain Vikings who challenged their alumni, and a local resident who challenged anyone born in Pembroke. We would love to see everyone participate, as our community pulls together to bring best-in-class care to local families. On March 2nd at the Radiothon, we invite a representative to join Art Jamieson and the team at the Pembroke Mall to present and celebrate your contribution. Every dollar helps, and we thank the community in advance for their unwavering support.

“The Radiothon was a big success in its inaugural year and we feel extremely lucky to live in such a supportive region, that really values having access to modern and state-of-the-art health care facilities,” said Nancy Warren, Executive Director at PRHF. “We look forward to speaking with donors on March 2nd, when they call 613-629-EDGE (3343).”
Thank you to our event sponsors: 104.9 myFM, EGM Insurance, Frank Carroll Financial, Kelly & Kelly Lawyers, McKie Pools and Spas, NRTC Communications, and Pembroke Mall. If you or someone you know would be interested in sponsoring the Radiothon or issuing a challenge, please contact the Foundation at [email protected] or by calling 613-732-2811 x 6223.
All proceeds will support the Cutting Edge Campaign, raising funds for orthopaedic equipment and renovations to the circa 1950’s surgical in-patient floor. The campaign has raised $1.68 million dollars to date, with $820,000 remaining. When residents from across the County dial-in to Connect to Care on March 2nd, we will be one step closer to reaching our community goal of $2.5M. Together we can do this!
