Cutting Edge
In 2015, the Pembroke Regional Hospital launched it’s “Cutting Edge” campaign to raise funds to renovate the circa 1950’s Surgical Floor and support the Orthopaedic program. The cost of this project was 2.5 million and was completed in 2019. This will help the hospital remain at the forefront of life-saving technology, improve accessibility and expand regional capabilities.
MRI Image Matters
In 2011, the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation launched it’s “MRI Image Matters” campaign to bring a Magnetic Resonance Imagine Machine to our Regional Hospital. The cost of this project was $4.5 million and was completed in 2015. Previously, the nearest MRI was a 320 km round trip minimum to Ottawa, this service will help ensure the hospital remains at the forefront of medical care in Renfrew County for decades to come.
A Gift of Hope
In 2005, the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation launched it’s “A Gift of Hope” campaign in the hopes of raising $600,000 for a Satellite Dialysis Unit at the Pembroke Regional Hospital. At the time, the Foundation spoke of the hardships and stress placed on Dialysis patients and their families having to travel to Ottawa for this life-saving treatment.

The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation supports programs and services integral to the advancement of health care and the total well-being of the citizens of Pembroke and the surrounding communities by the raising, managing, and distributing of funds to the Pembroke Regional Hospital.
