For the month of March we challenged local individuals, groups and businesses to become a “Healthcare Challenger” and support their Regional Hospital in a fun, creative or competitive way of their choice and the community truly heeded the call!

“We would like to give a BIG thank you to the sponsors of is event, Frank Carroll Financial, Roseburg Forest Products, Knights of Columbus, Stephanie Hughes – xogingy, MacEwen Petroleum, Dr. Richard Johnson, myFM & The Brick Pembroke.  We could not do this without their generous support,” says Community Fundraising Specialist, Leigh Costello.

Many local businesses, organizations & Individuals took on the “Community Challenge” and held individual fundraising events over the past month.  These “Healthcare Challengers” included: Nick’s Chicken House and Pizzeria, Mike’s Hardware Doors and So Much More, FN Good Food, The Nook Creperie, The Kitchen Eatery, Wilkies Fresh Baked Bread, David Minns Insurance and Gayle Schultz.  “We want to thank each of them for their hard work and support,” added Leigh Costello.

We also want to thank everyone in the community who supported these initiates through donations and support of the Healthcare Challengers,” says Executive Director, Roger Martin.
