Each year, foundation programs and fundraising events are organized and executed by tireless volunteers who give their time and energy towards improving health care access for Renfrew County families. Our Foundation is honoured by these individuals’ dedication and passion in ensuring comprehensive health care is close to home for the over 100,000 people of the Upper Ottawa Valley our hospital serves.
On behalf of our Board of Directors, and the Foundation, THANK YOU
Board of Directors
The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is governed and guided by a volunteer Board of Directors. These dedicated individuals donate their time and professional expertise in helping bring vision of
fundraising to life through our events.
Black & White Gala Committee
The Foundation’s signature fundraising event is driven by volunteers. Planning and work begins almost a full year ahead of the Gala to ensure our attendees and sponsors have a night to remember. Dedicating long hours in the lead up to, volunteer support is essential in all elements; from table arrangements, working with sponsors, to band choices and style design choices. Magic happens on that October Evening when everything comes together thanks to the hard work and persistence of our volunteer team.
Dr. Kim Armstrong Turkey Trot Committee
Uniting families, individuals and fitness for a good cause is the heart of the Dr. Kim Armstrong Turkey Trot. Organized and run (pardon the pun) by volunteers, the Turkey Trot is an annual event that see volunteers working together to create a fun-filled day from early to afternoon. From making sure the coffee is hot, to marking the race course, or awarding medals, the fun-run is an all hands-on deck volunteer driven experience.
Festive Home Tour Volunteers
Spreading holiday cheer, the Festive Home Tour volunteers offer not only their time, but also their magnificently decorated homes to support their local Hospital Foundation.
Bob & Sally
Bob Holmes and Sally Leslie are two of our dedicated volunteers who have offered their time and expertise in helping us carry out innovative fundraising. From helping assemble packages within our office, to working in the community promoting our events and fundraisers, we could not do what we do without them. Thank you to Bob, Sally, and every volunteer who is helping improve our regional hospital.
