Bank of Montreal (BMO) Contributes $10,000 To The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation As A Gift Of Humanity Sponsor Of The 2020 Un-Gala @ Home Event

The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is excited to announce Bank of Montreal (BMO) as a Gift of Humanity Sponsor for the October 17th Un-Gala @ Home event – a fine dining experience, coupled with a virtual concert, to benefit the Pembroke Regional Hospital.

BMO Regional Vice-President – Personal Banking in Renfrew County, Rich Campagna stated, “As an essential service, we recognize the importance to strengthen other vital pillars that ensure the wellbeing of our communities. We’re proud to get behind the Pembroke Regional Hospital to help them continue protecting our region’s health and wellbeing.”

Remarking on BMO’s sponsorship, Un-Gala Committee Chair, Laura Carroll said, “This is BMO’s third $10,000 Gift of Humanity to a PRHF Gala fundraiser. BMO’s commitment to its community is unwavering. Even though we don’t know what tomorrow brings, our community remains consistently willing to dig deep to take care of one another.”

The Un-Gala @ Home is an opportunity for ticket purchasers to host their own gala dinner parties at home for family and friends, while supporting their regional hospital. Un-Gala ticket holders will receive a sumptuous four-course dinner kit fully prepared by Ullrich’s along with an access key to enjoy the virtual show. Entertainment will feature testimonials from PRH health care workers, key sponsors and patients, as well as performances by Jason Blaine, Sierra Levesque, Ben & Gillan Rutz, PRH’s very own Dr. Margarita Lianeri and more.

Proceeds from the Un-Gala @ Home support the Cutting Edge Campaign, which funds the much-needed upgrades of the inpatient surgical floor which was built in the 1950s. These renovations will improve the care and comfort of patients undergoing surgery at PRH in the future.

Foundation Executive Director Roger Martin echoed Ms. Carroll’s sentiments, and adds “We are very blessed to have the corporate support, coupled with the local staff who continue to support us time and time again. Thank you all very much!”
