(Pembroke) Phones continued to ring after the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation March 1st Radiothon came to a close. Helping to boost the event’s success even further, Knights of Columbus Petawawa donated $1000, bringing the grand total to $44,239.
“Our regional hospital foundation’s Cutting Edge Campaign is important and it will benefit everyone in the region,” said Jacques Caron, Treasurer of Council 11932. “We simply had to call in to contribute what we could.”
“The community support we received for the Radiothon was tremendous,” said Nancy Warren, PRHF Executive Director. “The Petawawa Knights’ donation helped to conclude the Radiothon beyond expectations and just goes to demonstrate our community’s desire to advance health care across Renfrew County.”
Proceeds from the Radiothon will support the PRH Orthopaedic Program and the reconstruction of the in-patient surgical floor.
