Known throughout the ‘Valley’, local author, retired teacher, and columnist Heather Campbell is investing the proceeds from her latest book, Heather’s Musings and More, into regional health care.
“The book is rooted in stories of growing up in the community,” shared Heather. “In that same sense of community, I would like to share that $5 from every sale is being donated to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation.”
Originally from the Coe Hill area, Heather has made Renfrew County her home. After teaching for 34 years Heather is just as busy as ever; from serving as the organist in Beachburg, her column in the Bancroft Times, to publishing her fifth book!
Perfect for the casual reader, the book is bursting with local stories, anecdotes and life lessons from around the Ottawa Valley and Algonquin area. Retailing for $18.95, they are perfect addition for under the Christmas Tree. Available at Janna’s Café, the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation, and other great locations throughout the County.
