The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is delighted to announce the first year of the Giving Garden was a great success and addition to the Foundations fundraising efforts! Located on the ground floor of tower B at PRH this Giving Garden has provided a new and unique way for donors to honour a loved one and show their support of the hospital!
“We want to give a big thank you to Lana of Astrid’s Floral Boutique for generously donating and planting the beautiful plants in the garden” says Leigh Costello, PRH Foundation Community Fundraising Specialist. She adds, “we are thrilled with how this project turned out and that it has been enjoyed by donors and hospital patrons over the past year. We would like to thank everyone who has purchased a plaque in honour of a loved one.”
Executive Director Roger Martin says “We are excited to be able to offer the community a new way to support their Regional Hospital while recognizing others”, and even more excited that the Giving Garden complements, our new Digital Donor Wall, which also launched in the summer of 2022.”
Plaques can be purchased for the garden and dedicated in memory or in honour of someone special. These plaques will remain in the garden for 1-3 years with an opportunity to be renewed in further support of the Pembroke Regional Hospital’s greatest needs. When your plaque is ready to be put in the garden you have to option to come to the hospital to place it yourself and have a photo taken for social media.

Plaques for individuals to purchase are $100 for 1 year or $200 for 3 years. As a special promotion for the Anniversary of the Garden you will receive a 3 year plaque for the 1 year price of $100 if purchased before August 31st, 2023.
