Just in time for Christmas, Lynda and Kirk Dobbs will be opening their home for a Festive Tour in support of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation. With eight Christmas trees, and decorations adorning shelves and end tables, the Dobbs have created a Winter Wonderland for family and guests alike.
“Christmas has always been an important holiday to us, bringing together friends and families from across great distances,” shared Lynda. “This year, we wanted to open our door to the public, both before and after Christmas to carry the season’s spirit through and into the New Year.”
The Dobbs are inviting people into their home for two Christmas Tour dates, one on December 20th, and the second on January 10th. Located on Golf Course Road, guests will be welcomed into the Great Hall, before being led around their home where Lynda has spent the past month decorating. From trees to fireplaces, the elegance carries from kitchen to individually holiday themed rooms.
“We are in awe of this stunning home and the decorating Lynda has done,” said Nancy Warren, Executive Director of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation. “The Dobbs Family is generously opening their home to our community in support of our local hospital and I hope that many people accept the invitation.”
The Dobbs previous house in Petawawa had been a part of past home tours, and this will be their first tour in their new home. Construction began in 2009, after Kirk and Lynda designed and planned the home for two years leading up to that. With over 14,500 sq. ft., there is Christmas wow-factor around every corner.
