Bank of Montreal (BMO) recently pledged a $10,000 Gift of Humanity towards the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s annual Black and White Gala. The contribution will support surgical care and orthopaedic advancements in Renfrew County.
Now in its 14th year, the annual black tie event, which takes place Saturday, October 19th, has raised over $1.24 million to-date to help advance local health care services at the Pembroke Regional Hospital.
“The communities that we serve are the foundation of our success,” said Andrea McGuinness, BMO Pembroke Branch Manager. “Supporting local health care through the Black and White Gala is an important way for us to invest in our communities to foster their economic health.”
BMO has contributed to advancements at the Pembroke Regional Hospital for over eighteen years.
PRHF Board Chair, Lisa Edmonds, remarked on the impact that BMO has made at the Pembroke Regional Hospital: “BMO is a dedicated ally for helping to bring health care excellence to our Hospital and to the families of Renfrew County.”
BMO’s support enabled the purchase of a new CT in 2002, the Hospital’s building expansion in 2004, purchase of the Regional MRI and now, the recent Gift of Humanity will help support improvements to the Surgical Floor and equipment purchases for the Orthopaedic Program at the Pembroke Regional Hospital.
The sold-out Gala will take place at the Normandy Officer’s Mess at Garrison Petawawa. Nearly 230 attendees can expect to enjoy a delicious 4-course meal, catered by Ullrich’s, followed by a splendid evening of dancing to live music.
