The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation recently won the Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Community Organization of the Year Award! The award recognizes “a non-profit group or organization that through its work or a unique special project has generated community pride and has had a significant impact in the Upper Ottawa Valley.” Part of the criteria include that “the organization will have shown a continuing active interest in the welfare of the people of the Upper Ottawa Valley through fundraising for a community cause”, and “improves the quality of life.”
