The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is throwing the 3rd Annual Valentine’s Dance in support of bringing an MRI machine to the Pembroke hospital.
The live music and intimate affair is happening Saturday, Feb. 14 at the Best Western Inn and Conference Centre. Promising terrific entertainment, appetizers and a silent auction, tickets are selling fast!
“Best Western, as the title sponsor, has been very gracious in donating its space and staff to ensure a terrific night,” said Eli Boucher, MRI committee member, lead singer, and Valentine’s Dance chairman. “Their professionalism takes the pressure off of us as a committee so we can focus on guests and ensuring the best experience for this Valentine’s Dance.”
The fantastic finger foods of Westwinds Restaurant will keep partiers nibbling while they dance the night away to Eli and the Scramblers. According to organizers, when the band set takes the stage at 8:30 p.m., the Valentine’s Dance is just beginning.
In addition to the live entertainment, there is also a silent auction with packages ranging from dinner and evenings out, local business gift certificates, autographed sports memorabilia, gift baskets and more.
Even more exciting, the winner of the Valentine’s Vacation Raffle for MRI will be drawn. One lucky ticket holder will win a one-week’s stay at an Orlando Vacation Property, $1,200 travel voucher, limo service to the Ottawa international airport, a week’s car rental for Florida, and more!
This is the third year of organizing the dance for the Valentine’s Dance committee. Chaired by Eli Boucher, the committee consists of Tara Neville, Michael Moncion, Aileen LeBlanc, Kelly Simon, and Kathy Harrington. The Dance attracts attendees from Renfrew to Deep River and the Pontiac. With a robust silent auction of donated prizes from community-minded businesses, there is something for everyone.
Tickets for the Valentine’s Dance are $40 each, and available at Bob’s Music Plus, Moncion Grocers and from the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation. Valentine’s Vacation Raffle tickets are $10 each, or three for $25. For tickets or more information, please call the Foundation office at 613-732-2811 ext. 7408.
